The X-Story began with our original: the i-Bridge®. When it was introduced in 2006, it was the very first implant based superstructure with an angeld screw channel. An ideal starting point for dentures with high-quality aesthetics.
i-Butment® and i-Bar® are the brands for abutments and bars.
The latest development at i-ProDens is the UNITY i-Bar®. You can find more information about this smart combination at the bottom of the page.
Angled schrew channels
You only need one screwdriver for i-products with X – regardless of the implant system. The patented screw channel can be
angled up to 30°.
Original components
Order Xtra i-Products, if you wish to use the implant manufacturer’s original screws as well as the available instruments.
Straight screw channels
This category is for straight screw channels. Our regular products are fixed with the implant manufacturer’s screwdriver.

Im Fazit des von ZTM Björn Maier und Dr. Wolfgang Bartsch erschienenen Fachartikels (das dental labor, 04.2021) schreiben die Autoren:
“Festsitzende Arbeiten erhalten prinzipiell eine sehr hohe Akzeptanz bei den Patienten, da diese dem Erscheinungsbild natürlicher Zähne sehr nahekommen. Implantatbasierte Suprakonstruktionen – clever umgesetzt
Im Fazit schreibt Autor ZTM Björn Maier:
Dank der rasanten Weiterentwicklung der digitalen Technologien und werkstofftechnischen Eigenschaften wurde in den vergangenen zehn Jahren eine sehr individuelle Patientenversorgung möglich. Für jede Situation kann aus einem immer größer werdenden Portfolio ausgewählt werden. Bei all den Möglichkeiten sollte aber nicht vergessen werden, dass am Ende die Ergebnisse der analogen Umsetzung von Gerüststrukturen und Verblendmaterialien über den langfristigen Erfolg von zahntechnischen Restaurationen entscheiden. Hierbei sieht der Autor die grundsolide Technik, die hinter den i-ProDens Produkten steht, als eine optimale Basis. Diese individuell gefertigten Gerüststrukturen geben ein hohes Maß an Sicherheit und in Verbindung mit zukunftsweisenden Verblendmaterialien entstehen solide und ästhetisch hochwertige Endergebnisse, an denen der Patient Jahrzehnte Freude empfinden wird und sehr viel Lebensqualität zurückbekommt.

Untersuchungsgegenstand: Implantatgerüste inkl. cara I-Bridge
Zusammenfassung der Studie von Kulzer – cara I-Bridge Study Malmoe
Die durchschnittliche Distorsion war bei allen Gerüsten auf der horizontalen Ebene (x- und y-Achse) höher, bei nur geringen Distorsionen in vertikaler Richtung (z-Achse). Die in einer Laborumgebung hergestellten Gerüste zeigen in der Regel weniger Distorsion als eher routinemäßig gefertigte ähnliche Gerüste (klinische Kontrolle). Die Passgenauigkeit der Gerüste war für die beiden verwendeten Implantatsysteme ähnlich.
Ein spannungsfreier Sitz (passive fit) auf dem Modell wurde bei keinem der Gerüste festgestellt. Die Studie wurde von Kulzer zusammengefasst.

Belastbarkeit verschraubter Implantatbrücken nach mechanischer Wechselbelastung
In den Schlussfolgerungen der Studie der Medizinischen Hochschule Hannover heißt es:
“Die Verbindungselemente der untersuchten I-Bridge®2-Restaurationen zeigten trotz ungünstiger Implantatangulationen ein sehr zuverlässiges Langzeitverhalten. Die Belastbarkeit lag dabei ein Vielfaches über den maximal auftretenden Kaukräften, sodass das untersuchte Versorgungskonzept für den beschriebenen Indikationsbereich empfohlen werden kann.”
